Mountain River origin
Several years back we were fortunate enough to realize a life dream and buy a lovely cottage. It is a summer place situated on the bend of a river only a few hours north of our city. The river winds its way through the Adirondacks Mountains, and provides plenty of recreation for the family. We were thrilled to renovate and renew the old place and restore its mid-century charm. We envisioned many years of summer time fireworks, campfires and fishing. These things are a labor of love, and we put effort into every part of the renewal. The boat launch was in good shape, but sadly we found that the place lacked an outdoor seating area. It was a project, but we added a deck, and set about finding some comfortable and fashionable outdoor furniture. But every piece we saw was either cheap and clunky looking, or was stylish but wayyyy too expensive. Thanks to our business background we knew what good furniture should cost. And we had a clear idea of the style we wanted. So it was a natural decision to create and supply our own furniture, and then to offer those items for sale to the public. We have designed and developed a full line of outdoor living products that bring the unique feel of our Mountain River cottage to you. We hope you enjoy the fruits of our labor.
